Before starting Likeness Co, I did something a little obsessive: I read hundreds of one-star reviews of pet portrait companies. Every single one. And the same heartbreak appeared over and over — "it doesn't look like my dog." "It missed Christmas." "They refused a revision." "No refunds." A grid of disappointed people who had paid for something they never got to see first. And every one of those problems had the same root cause: you pay before you see the art.

So I built the opposite. At Likeness Co, you see the portrait before you pay. You can change anything, free, as many times as it takes. You approve it, and only then do we print. If we say it will arrive by a certain date, it will, or your money back. No hidden fees. No surprises.

Every portrait that ships goes through my hands first. I check the colors, the details, the likeness. Because the whole point is that it looks like them. Not a generic version of their breed. Them. The specific tilt of their head, the exact shade of their fur, the look in their eyes that you would recognize anywhere.
