When we use the term "personal information," we mean information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you or another person. - Financial information including payment card information, financial account information, transaction details, form of payment, and payment confirmation.
- Account information including your username, password, security questions, preferences and settings.
- Transaction information including the items you view, put in your cart, purchase, or cancel, and your past transactions.
- Communications with us including information you include in messages to us, such as customer support inquiries.
- Device information including information about your device, browser, or network connection, your IP address, and other unique identifiers.
- Usage information including how and when you interact with or navigate the Services.
Pet Photos and Custom Order Content
When you place a custom order, you may upload photographs of your pet and provide design direction. We use this content solely to create your artwork and fulfill your order. It is shared with the service providers involved in producing your order (such as image-processing and print-fulfillment partners) only for that purpose. We retain order artwork and associated photos so we can offer reprints, revisions, and customer support; you may request deletion of your photos at any time using the contact details below, subject to our need to retain records of completed transactions. We do not use your photos to market to others, and we will not feature your pet's photo or portrait in our marketing without asking you first.
Personal Information Sources
We may collect personal information from the following sources: directly from you, including when you create an account, use the Services, communicate with us, or otherwise provide information; automatically through the Services, including from your device through cookies and similar technologies; from our service providers, when they collect or process your personal information on our behalf; and from our partners or other third parties.
How We Use Your Personal Information
Depending on how you interact with us, we may use personal information for the following purposes:
- Provide, Tailor, and Improve the Services. To provide you with the Services, perform our contract with you, process payments, fulfill orders (including creating your custom artwork), remember your preferences, send account notifications, process purchases and refunds, manage your account, arrange shipping, enable reviews, and create a customized shopping experience, including recommending related products, and to improve the Services.
- Marketing and Advertising. To send marketing and promotional communications by email, text message or postal mail, and to show you online advertisements for products or services, including based on your activity on the Services.
- Security and Fraud Prevention. To authenticate your account, provide a secure payment and shopping experience, detect and investigate possible fraudulent, illegal, unsafe, or malicious activity, and secure our Services. If you register an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials safe; we recommend not sharing them with anyone.
- Communicating with You. To provide customer support, be responsive to you, and maintain our business relationship with you.
- Legal Reasons. To comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal process, investigate or participate in legal proceedings, and enforce or investigate potential violations of our terms or policies.
How We Disclose Personal Information
In certain circumstances, we may disclose your personal information to third parties for legitimate purposes subject to this Privacy Policy, including:
- With Shopify, vendors and other third parties who perform services on our behalf (e.g. IT management, payment processing, data analytics, customer support, cloud storage, print-on-demand fulfillment, image-processing, and shipping).
- With business and marketing partners to provide marketing services and advertise to you. For example, we use Shopify to support personalized advertising with third-party services based on your online activity with different merchants and websites. Our partners use your information in accordance with their own privacy notices. Depending on where you reside, you may have a right to direct us not to share your information for targeted advertising, which you can exercise as described below.
- When you direct or consent to our disclosure of information to third parties, such as to ship you products or through your use of social media widgets or login integrations.
- With our affiliates or otherwise within our corporate group.
- In connection with a business transaction such as a merger or bankruptcy, to comply with legal obligations (including subpoenas, search warrants and similar requests), to enforce applicable terms or policies, and to protect or defend the Services, our rights, and the rights of our users or others.
Relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them for you. Information you submit will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify and third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside. To help protect, grow, and improve our business, we use certain Shopify enhanced features that incorporate data obtained from your interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify. In these circumstances, Shopify is responsible for processing your personal information, including responding to requests to exercise your rights over that use. To learn more, visit the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy at https://privacy.shopify.com/en.
Third Party Websites and Links
The Services may link to websites operated by third parties. If you follow such links, review their privacy and security policies and other terms. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the privacy or security of such sites. Information you share on public or semi-public venues, including third-party social platforms, may be viewable by other users without limitation. Our inclusion of links does not imply endorsement.
Children's Data
The Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with personal information, contact us using the details below to request deletion. As of the Effective Date, we do not have actual knowledge that we "share" or "sell" (as defined in applicable law) personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
Security and Retention of Your Information
No security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee "perfect security." Information you send to us may not be secure in transit; we recommend not using unsecure channels for sensitive or confidential information. How long we retain personal information depends on factors such as maintaining your account, providing Services, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing applicable contracts and policies.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights below. These rights are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances, and in certain cases we may decline your request as permitted by law.

- Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing for Targeted Advertising: depending on where you reside, opt out of the "sale" or "share" of your personal information or its processing for "targeted advertising" as defined in applicable law. If you visit our website with the Global Privacy Control opt-out preference signal enabled, we will treat this as an opt-out request for that device and browser, and where we can associate the signal with an account, for the account as well. Learn more at https://globalprivacycontrol.org/. We do not recognize other "Do Not Track" signals.
- Managing Communication Preferences: you may opt out of promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails. We may still send non-promotional emails about your account or orders.
You may exercise these rights where indicated on the Services or by contacting us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may need to verify your identity before processing requests, as permitted or required by law.
